Will the winter never end?? At least there is a lot of time for reading our ISU books and getting ready for another busy week next week.
Monday we'll take a look a characterization in Alias Grace but it will come in handy for Wednesday as well.
Tuesday we will begin looking at some formal essays concerning Alias Grace.
Wednesday is the ISU in class critical response
Thursday is a work period with the OSSLT in the morning and the parent-teacher interview night in the evening.
Friday will be a discussion day concerning the essays we are reading about Alias Grace.
We are into Alias Grace with a lesson on symbolism and a lesson on quilting in the first two days...who would suspect we would want to look at quilting in English class. Anyway keep reading those ISU novels.
Today we looked at Feminist Criticism. We will be taking up two poems tomorrow to be sure everyone "gets" the main idea.
Tomorrow we will be watching the two videos on Marxism and looking at one more poem.
